End of Year Choral Performance

As you all are aware, the past year has unfortunately looked very different with the loss of our annual Fall, Winter, Pyramid and Spring Concerts, as well as our Koste Classic and community events. However, throughout the year our choreographer, Andy Haines, the MHS Choral Boosters and I remained determined that IF there was a will we would do our best to find a way for an end of year performance, and we believe that the time has come!

 

For any and all choral students who are interested, we are excited for the opportunity to work with your students to provide them with an extra-curricular performance experience and we are looking forward to seeing what they will ultimately produce. During the week of June 1-5, the Manchester Choral Program will be conducting rehearsals and performances in person, outdoors.

 

Rehearsal & Performance Schedule: Tuesday, June 1 - 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Wednesday, June 2 - 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Thursday, June 3 - 3:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Friday, June 4 - PERFORMANCE, 7:00 pm

Saturday, June 5 - PERFORMANCE, 7:00 pm

 

In order to make this dream a reality, it is important that we prepare accordingly. Therefore, all students joining us for this week long camp/performance experience should be aware that there is a charge associated with participating. With the loss of two MAJOR fundraisers this spring (our annual show choir/concert choir competition, The Koste Classic, usually raising $20,000+ each year and the hosting of the Prestige Dance Recital for 2 years, usually raising $4000 to $5000 each year) and no show choir charges being paid, we are requesting a fee of $50 from each performer to cover music, choreography, sound/tech assistance and accessories (i.e. masks, costuming).

 

Our website credit card and PayPal options are now available on our website, and donations can also be paid via Venmo (@MHSChoralBoosters23112) or check to the Manchester Choral Boosters.  

Check (made out to Manchester Choral Boosters) or cash can be given to Mrs. Kim or Ms. Dunnavant (Mrs. Batson's substitute) in class or dropped off to the front office.
